Our  Story

Josh and Rachael began operating as a marketing duo nearly a decade ago with a singular mission: to provide the data-driven strategy and execution required for high-growth companies to scale. The latest iteration of what used to be Johnson Strategic Marketing (booooring, we know) is New Gen Demand.


While our brand has evolved, our core commitment remains unchanged. We turn complex marketing challenges into streamlined revenue engines. We’ve spent our careers at the intersection of demand generation and revenue operations, specializing in everything from full-funnel campaign strategy and marketing automation to custom AI-based messaging and complex data management. Some special projects have included engineering a proprietary ABM platform to rival industry leaders like 6Sense and developing a budget management solution that challenges platforms like Planful. 


As our business has grown, so has our family. We now have three kids, an adorable rescue pup, and a mischievous rescue cat. From what we can tell, the new gen​eration is going to have some pretty incredible innovative and resilient problem-solvers.

Caitlin excels at creating strategies that drive growth and ROI, utilizing channels like Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta, Pinterest, Tik Tok, Linkedin, and Trade Desk, all while leading teams and collaborating across departments. Whether it’s optimizing campaigns, analyzing performance, or building strategic roadmaps for success, Caitlin brings a mix of creativity, strategy, and results-driven expertise to every project.
